Events provide a platform to our students to showcase their talents and energies both at the academic as well as creative fronts. An event is nothing without the efforts of a sincere and diligent team working together. Our students and staff are full of innovative and progressive ideas. Hard work and preparedness go a long way and can be seen at the various events being held at The Chetana School and preparing our students to be leaders in the 21st century.
At our school, we organize several inter-house sporting and non-sporting events. The points earned by the winners, are added to the House points. These events help to develop a team-spirit and a sense of belonging, among the students.
We have four major school events which are held annually and see the communities of our two schools working side by side. Students and teachers take the lead in organising the School Festival in spring, Sports Day in fall, and the All School Production in winter, while parents are the driving force behind the International Fair in November. All four events offer excellent opportunities for students to learn cooperation, teamwork and leadership skills while making memories that will last a lifetime.
Planned, prepared and run by the Chetana's School student council, the School Festival is our big event of the spring trimester. Each homeroom class and a number of cultural clubs contribute to the day with projects such as food stalls, games, theatrical and musical performances and exhibitions.
The Chetana School Sports Day is held in October and is a thrilling day for students faculty and families. As with the school festival, the entire event is student-led, with the two-school student council and student committees leading and organizing the planning and the implementation of the activities.
Hold a school event on the National Day of Action where students showcase theatre, song, dance or other performances they have developed in class—invite parents and community members.
“Chetana Schools run a series of events throughout the year many of which are for the local community and the wider area to which we invite anyone who is interested to attend. These events range from lectures to open air music events and are a wonderful way to come and experience the Chetana schools.”
